JUST IN, FLORAFAUNA BUSINESS CARDS! Finally, official business cards have arrived. That took far too long to happen considering we're graphic designers. Letter press printed by the one and only Kent Aldrich of Nomadic Press. He did a great job, as always. If you're ever in need of a letter press guy I highly recommend him.

NEW FLORAFAUNA MONO/TEST PRINTS Test/Mono Prints are the result of screen printing multiple "practice" or test pulls before the printing of a poster actually begins. Some of these prints contain 20-30 layers of ink. No two are alike.

Many times new color combos and image ideas come to light when doing them, and if you do a lot of overprints like I do, it's a great way to find/see EXACTLY how colors and ink transparencies will play with each other.

IBM SMARTER PLANET Late or never, I'm just now getting around to posting these images of the IBM Smarter Planet graphic system, some of which were created by the amazing talent and smarts of fellow designer and friend, William Ecke while working at the design shop, Office in San Francisco. The bold colored and super fun icons are applied to posters, billboards, ads, web apps., and much more, I'm sure. I'm convinced these little icons actually CAN make you smarter! no? Really incredible stuff here.
