THE INCREDIBLE WORK OF ALLISON SCHULNIK I first discovered Allison Schulnik's work a few weeks back and it absolutely floored me. Born, 1978, in San Diego, CA. Allison currently resides and works out of Los Angeles, CA. She is a mulitfaceted artist with tallent that litterally oozes out of her onto everyhting she makes. "I allow my imagination to revel in it's own world - where thickly-sculpted oils, earthly fact and blatant fiction collide to form images of tragedy, farce and raw beauty."

Oil paintings of clowns or hoboes or vaguely yeti-like creatures, sad characters, ravaged animals, and forlorn rejects are all constant themes presented in many of Allison's painitngs.

Allison also collaborated with the band Grizzly Bear in making The 4 minute and 30 second stop-motion video for the song Ready Able. Pretty great stuff, no doubt.
